![]() The TL DR version is: This is a Security Breach AU wherein a sweet and protective, but too-hungry-for-her-own-good mama hen adopts a wild Gregory.Screenshot of guitar gameplay, showcasing notes on the highway the hit window song progression, star, and star power meters point, star, and combo counters and the combo multiplier.Ĭlone Hero, by design, features nearly identical gameplay to Guitar Hero. Specifically, the game is most similar to later entries in the series such as World Tour and Warriors of Rock, using GUI assets from those games. Gameplay involves hitting colored inputs on a guitar or drum-shaped controller to play along to songs, although in Clone Hero these inputs can be mapped to a keyboard or any other input device. Unlike the Guitar Hero series, by default there is no penalty for missing notes, aside from breaking a combo, making it impossible to fail a song, although there is an option to enable this.įor guitar, players must hold specific buttons that line up with combinations of five colored notes that appear on the screen on a "highway" when the notes hit the bottom of the highway, the player must strum to hit the notes in time with the music. Notes can be singular, or multiple at a time, forming a chord. Thank you guys for reading, it's been weighing heavily on me for the last week or so.Notes can also be sustains, in which the player must hold the matching button(s) after strumming, the duration of the hold being indicated by a line following the note or chord. But that being said, I have no interest in going hard at Clone Hero guitar anymore. Along with Rocksmith Bass too, it's a great "real instrument" experience on the channel too. Another goal is improving at pro drums on Clone Hero, I've been a drummer for years and it's my all-time favorite instrument. And with Guitar Hero II and Rock Band 2 getting their strum limits removed, I feel like it's a remaster of the glory days of Guitar Hero for me. Call that washed up or whatever, these games feel so much better for me. My goal is to be focusing on pushing limits of these old games where I actually feel rewarded for hitting stuff that doesn't seem like it'd be difficult in Clone Hero. ![]() It's an insane feeling and I'm so fucking happy that they've been an engaging and wholesome experience not just for myself but for you guys too. I haven't enjoyed these games this much since I was 10. Nostalgia, tons of laughs, a new challenge. When I set out and did the PS2 streams, it was a whole different vibe. I just can't physically keep up with it anymore. I hope you guys get Soulless 6 and Uber Song soon, it's entertaining as fuck. I have nothing but big respect for you guys out there that are skip and slide tapping and rake strumming away to FC stuff from years ago that was deemed unpassable. ![]() This is not to discredit those absolutely killing it in Clone Hero right now. I may get Prevail one day, but that's not anytime soon. ![]() I've FC'd Soulless 4, Crisis City, numerous ridiculous tracks like speedups and whatnot. The same like 10 soundclown memes are requested in the stream, or the same 10 modcharts, or Through the Fire and Flames lmao. When you're the person known for the funny reaction to this song or this video, it's all that's asked for in a stream. I talked about this briefly on stream and the magic has worn off almost completely. I've left a good mark on the scene with my accomplishments in the game on guitar.
